Roadmap

What’s planned for TidyWallet.

Last updated 16 October 2026

Plans are grouped by stage rather than by date. Items move up as the ones before them are finished, and finished ones move to the Changelog.

Now In progress

Version 1.0.2 on Google Play

TidyWallet and its paid plan are on Google Play. Version 1.0.2, with a quicker way to switch periods in Analytics, is on its way there; the Changelog lists what’s in it.

Import transactions from a CSV file

Bring in transactions from a CSV file, such as an export from your bank or from another money app, instead of entering them one by one. You’ll choose which columns hold the date, the amount and the description, and see the transactions before any are added. The file is read on your phone and isn’t sent anywhere.

A monthly summary in plain words

A short note at the end of each month about where your money went, for example: dining was well above your usual, three subscriptions renewed, and one charge repeats every month that you haven’t set up as a standing order. It’s worked out on your phone from the transactions you’ve entered, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Ask questions about your money

Type a question such as “How much did I spend on fuel since June compared with last year?” and get the answer from your own ledger. It’s planned to run on your phone, using the AI built into newer phones, so your ledger isn’t sent to a server to answer it. Because of that it will only work on phones that have that built in.

TidyWallet for iPhone

A separate app written for the iPhone, rather than the Android app adapted to it.

  • Backup files will move both ways, so a ledger can go from an Android phone to an iPhone and back.
  • The same ledger will show the same figures on both phones.
  • The free and paid plans will include the same things on both.

Suggest something

If something you want isn’t here, suggest it. Every suggestion is read.
