Get help with TidyWallet.
Most questions are already answered, either in the app or on this site. If yours isn't, write to the developer. TidyWallet is made by one person, so there's no support department.
Find an answer
In the app, open Settings › Help & FAQ. It explains every screen and can be searched, so it's the quickest place to look.
On this site, Help covers the questions that come up most: a holding that reads "Not valued", a balance left out of net worth, a damaged ledger file, backups, moving to a new phone, the free plan’s limits and subscription payments.
Getting in touch
Questions, bug reports and suggestions all go to info@craftedpxl.com.
The quickest way to write is from the app. Settings › Send feedback opens an email with the app version and your device already filled in, so you don't need to look them up.
Replies may take a few days.
Reporting a bug
A bug report is quicker to fix when it includes:
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- The steps that led to it, if it can be repeated.
- Your TidyWallet version and Android version.
- A screenshot, where the problem is something you can see.
Please don't send your backup file, exports or screenshots that show full account numbers. A bug report almost never needs your financial data, and the developer has no secure way to receive it.
Suggesting a feature
Suggestions are welcome and are all read, even when the answer is no. TidyWallet is meant to stay a ledger you keep yourself, so the suggestions most likely to be added are ones that make recording or reading your figures easier.
